STEREOLOGICAL FORMULAS FOR MANIFOLD PROCESSES

Abstract: Stationary and isotropic q -dimensional random manifolds in Rn are considered. Formulas are given which allow to determine the expected q -dimensional volume of the random manifold per unit volume of Rn by measurements of the intersection with a hyperplane or other manifold.
